In 2010 I began a series of characters that were eating houses, usually seated upon a pile of houses.

Since then I have been fascinated with the idea of creating an image consuming the image I have long been obsessed with.

This became an ongoing theme in many of my works over the years as the house has come to represent many different obsessions and challenges in my life.

Hello Snakes is a one of a kind piece as well as an alternative version/study of a much larger work(completed 2017) titled "The Florid Memory Of The Infinite Hammer".

The piece is a silver gelatin print with acrylic and carbon transfers on a 1/4" MDF panel.
The whole work is coated in my homemade beeswax/dammar/carnauba wax encaustic.
It is mounted in a custom handmade stained and waxed pine frame.

The framed piece is 16" x 20.5" x 3.5"

The back is wired and ready to hang!
